I chose Mount Annapurna Guest House for its prime location in Thamel, Kathmandu's vibrant neighborhood. I wanted to visit Swayambhunath, which turned out to be just a short distance away. But what pleasantly surprised me was the availability of daily newspapers, travel guides, and travel journals. It provided me with the latest news and information about Nepal, adding to my overall experience. The restaurant also impressed me with its wide variety of cuisines, ranging from Continental to Chinese and Indian. , I appreciated the thorough cleaning process for all vegetables, salads, and utensils, ensuring a germ-free meal.
The wifi on the 3rd floor of Mount Annapurna Guest House, where I stayed twice during my vacation, was not always stable. While I could log in, connecting to the internet proved to be a challenge.

The rooms at Mount Annapurna Guest House were cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I loved how neat and clean everything was, it really added to the overall pleasant experience.
Personally, I found the lack of an extra bed when sharing the room with my parents a bit inconvenient.

I recently stayed at a guest house in Kathmandu and had a fantastic experience. The reception guy was incredibly understanding and explained to me with calmness and tranquility how to come into the hostel after 10 pm. He answered my questions quietly, which was very soothing. The bed in the room was huge and the shower was incredibly hot. I was able to get warm water almost immediately, which was important due to the weather. The hotel was clean and tidy, with comfortable beds. The staff spoke good English and were kind and helpful at all times. I also used their travel agency to organize a trek, which was done quickly and satisfactorily. I had a great stay at this guest house.
Everything was spot on! 👌

The rooms at Mount Annapurna Guest House are simply cozy and comfortable. The neat and clean environment makes me feel right at home. The modern facilities in the room add a touch of convenience to my stay. I especially appreciate the option of sharing the same room as my parents without needing an extra bed.
Personally, I found one feature a little lacking, but others may still enjoy it.

I chose this hotel for attending a brainstorming session because they provide telephone and fax services, which were essential for my work. The staff was helpful in assisting me with these services, ensuring a smooth communication process.
I missed having access to a business center with modern office equipment, such as printers and scanners. It would have been convenient for my work if such facilities were available.

Great budget option with clean rooms and a nearly new bathroom. Hot water was readily available. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The location was convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel also offered airport pick-up/drop-off and reasonably priced tour packages.
The room I stayed in was quite cold, possibly due to the winter season. The hotel did provide a heater for an extra charge, but it would have been more comfortable if the room had been warmer.

The warm water showers were amazing, always available and with great water pressure. Mr. Raj and Bhim were incredibly helpful and kind, providing useful advice and making my stay enjoyable. The bed was huge and comfortable, with a thick duvet. The location was perfect, close to central Thamel but peaceful.
Nothing, all excellent.

The staff at this guest house are absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay incredible, providing helpful advice and making us feel at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with hot showers and cozy beds. The location is perfect, close to everything but still tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and they even brought it up to our room when we weren't feeling well. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast, and they have a ticket system for luggage storage. this place is an absolute gem and we can't wait to come back!

I stayed at this budget option for a few nights and it was a great find. The room was clean and the bathroom was almost new with hot water working perfectly. The staff was always kind and helpful. The location is off the main road in a small alley, so it was quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable with thick blankets to keep me warm. They even provided a heater when I asked for it. Additionally, they had free water refill for drinking.
I do recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this guest house in the heart of Thamel. The location was unbeatable, with plenty of restaurants and gear stores nearby. The staff, including the owner, were lovely and friendly, always ready to help. The hotel facilities were great, with spacious and cosy rooms. The beds were comfortable and the showers had excellent water pressure and were always hot. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and everything in the hotel worked properly. We also enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which had good quality and affordable prices.
Could not be improved in any way.

I had an amazing stay at this guest house! The value for money was impressive, with spacious rooms and a comfortable bed. The location was perfect, being close to Thamel but away from the noisy bars. The staff treated me like family, with Mr. Raj always ready to help and provide useful advice. I would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast offerings could use some improvement, but everything else was fantastic.
